A Metrological Framework for Counting Saiga Antelope in Kazakhstan: From Field Observation to Calibrated Aerial Computer Vision

Scientific methodological manuscript

Nawras Al Bukhari

Reliable monitoring of Saiga antelope requires a measurement chain from morphology and camera physics through detection, tracking, geolocation, and survey inference. This manuscript defines that chain for Kazakhstan and does not claim an unmeasured field accuracy or population count.
