A work index is not a complete project database. It is the part of the record that can be shown without lying about the system or the client.
Before a case study exists, the engagement gets a publication level: public, public anonymized, or internal. That decision controls what the public page can name and what it must leave out.
Anonymized does not mean empty
A public case study can name the client and system. A public anonymized case study removes the identifying context while keeping the technical detail. An internal record does not appear on the public site.
The distinction matters because confidentiality is not a reason to replace engineering with vague adjectives. An anonymized record can still describe architecture, data flow, failure conditions, and current state.
The public work index is therefore shorter than the internal project list. That is not a content gap. It is the result of a filter applied before writing.
An honest public record says what was built, what was excluded, and what is still true. It does not fill the missing names with invented detail.
